The Digitude line of electronic freefall altimeters has been designed and manufactured by Altitude Concepts since 1992. There are currently thousands of Digitudes being jumped by skydiving professionals and fun jumpers all over the world.

The Digitude was the first successfull electronic visual altimeter specifically designed for the skydiving market. At the time of its release and for the next 12 years, the Digitude was the only electronic alternative to the mechanical altimeters which had been used by civilian and military jumpers since sport parachuting became popular in the 1950's. The Digitude's simple operation, accuracy and dependability have made it a trusted component of many skydiver's parachute equipment.

There are currently four Digitude models.
The original 'standard' model operates up to 20,000 ft AGL and displays the altitude to a resolution of 100 ft.
The high resolution 'pro' model also operates to 20,000 ft AGL but has a 10 ft resolution.
The Metric model operates to 6000 meters with a 10 meter resolution.
The high altitude model is rated up to 30,000 ft with 100 ft resolution, but will actually operate up to 50,000 ft with a small loss of linearity above 30,000 ft.

Repair and recalibration of existing Digitudes and replacement accessories are available and will continue to be for the forseeable future.
